Carlo Timothy is a Consultant of Adriaans Attorneys. He has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law, including drafting contracts of employment and employee policies and procedures; furnishing advice on restructuring and retrenchments; furnishing advice on the employment law implications of the transfer of a business as a going concern; conducting due diligence exercises from an employment law perspective. Carlo has advised both local and international clients on all aspects of South African employment law . Carlo has extensive CCMA and Labour Court experience as well as experience in a number of bargaining councils nationally. Carlo has gained his experience in Employment law in both the Private and Public sectors having been employed by the Provincial Government of the Western Cape under the auspices of the Department of the Premier and by a large multinational retail company, Massmart (Massdiscounters), specialising in Employment / Labour Law.

Carlo began his career in 2010 as a Candidate Attorney at Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes. He was appointed as an Associate in 2012 and became a Senior Associate in 2013. In 2016 Carlo commenced practicing for Adriaans Attorneys as a Consultant.
