Alayna Lewendal has extensive experience in the field of Labour and Employment Law. She deals with an array of the different Labour Law matters inter alia involving arbitrations, chairing disciplinary and other hearings, restructuring of organisations; and drafting of employment contracts. She had the opportunity to work in both in the public and private sectors and has extensive experience at the CCMA, Labour Court and Bargaining Council Forums nationally.  

Coupled with her incisive skill in Labour practice, she genuinely wants to see her clients to do better business. She has a passion for Organisational Development in a transitioning South Africa and is committed to influencing Economic Development one client at a time.

  • With Western Cape Cricket Association Initiate and prosecute disciplinary enquiries; represent client at CCMA and Labour Court and advise on labour related matters
  • With Cape Community FM Radio Station CCfm Currently acting as a Labour Law Consultant for CCfm Radio Station in capacity as Board Member, the position involves inter alia the restructuring of the organisation, termination and employment of staff members, review policies and the organisation’s constitution.
  • With Cape Nature Preside over disciplinary hearings.
  • With Natashan (Pty) Ltd Defend client in arbitrations and advise client on labour law matters from time to time.
  • With Legal work for the South African Board of Sheriffs (SABFS) Worked on several matters where the SABFS mandated a team at TNK Attorneys to resolve labour related matters.  
  • With AAM Maintenance at Woolworths Equipment Centre Acted as chairperson in a disciplinary hearing for AAM Maintenance at Woolworths Equipment Centre, Montague Gardens.
