Richard is an Senior Associate at Adriaans Attorneys and specialises in areas such as banking law, commercial litigation, municipal law, property and lease disputes, and family law. He is adept in handling evictions under commercial, ESTA, and PIE guidelines, as well as employment and labour law litigation. A member of the Legal Practice Council, Richard is deeply committed to his field and subscribes to Steve Jobs' belief that "the only way to do great work is to love what you do".
Outside of the office, he likes spending time with friends and family, enjoys braaiing, road trips to the Northern Cape, theatre, and reading. Richard's unwind routine includes catching up on current affairs or spending time in his garden
