Who is Carla Batt?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to practice law. Being a born and bred Capetonian, studying at Stellenbosch University was always my first choice. I realised early on that Property Law was something I felt passionate about and have been specialising in this field since being admitted as an attorney.
As an attorney
I realised that in most cases, buying or selling a home is a client’s first and possibly only experience with the law and the legal process. I therefore believe communication and practical legal advice is key when providing a conveyancing service. I pride myself on my honesty and my ability to deliver good quality work in the most efficient and reliable manner. Integrity and professionalism is non-negotiable.
My experience
My knowledge and skill set were developed over the past decade through my experience working as an associate and senior associate at two top tier law firms in South Africa. During this time I have been involved in a vast number of commercial and residential sales, sectional title developments, the registration of numerous mortgage bonds and assisting on various legal matters in the field of Property Law.
Adriaans Attorneys
When the opportunity to become part of the amazing team that makes up Adriaans Attorneys arose, I grabbed it with both hands. It is a privilege to work with these honest, driven and reputable individuals that I am lucky enough to call my colleagues!
